Summer Glow

I took both kids into the doctor's office the other day for seasonal allergies/colds. The nurse took one look at R and asked if she liked to eat Squash. I said that she did, but wondered why she asked. She went on to tell me that when babies eat a lot of squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, and other orange-ish vegetables, the coloring shows in their skin. I was disappointed to hear....I always thought she had her Dad's beautiful coloring.
