Post Birthday Celebrations

Q had one last 5th birthday celebration two Saturdays ago (Where has this month gone, by the way?!!). This time around included friends from school & swimming. It was truly a perfect day!

Happy Grandparent's Day

On Saturday, the kids wanted to paint a picture to send to the Grandparents for Grandparent's Day --- a little bit of paint went to "Hello Kitty", a little more went to "Super Hero Squad" & a little bit was shared between the two. Happy Grandparent's Day, Grandma & Paw Paw!! Happy Grandparent's Day, Mimi & PaPa!!

Labor Day News

Over the weekend, Q & Daddy participated in the "Kiwanis Kid's Fishing Tournament". Q caught & reeled in this 2 lb catfish all by himself! Nice, eh?



We also met up with some of our friends at Northshore Park to play in the beautiful morning air. We miss our friends that have gone on to Kindergarten, so we've decided to meet up once a month for some playtime.




And we got in a few good rides on the motorcycles at Grandma & Paw Paw's.



What a great Labor Day holiday!! Friends, family, & fish....what else is there?!?!

What's Going On

Where do I begin??? Well, my sweet little guy turned 5 on the 22nd of August. On his birthday eve, we celebrated with Grandma & Paw Paw at Shogun Japanese Grill with a huge hibachi dinner. Afterwards, it was birthday presents & chocolate cupcakes. Here's a few pics of the loot.








On the little man's big day, we celebrated at Mimi & Papa's, along with UB, Aunt Aimee, Sutton & Aunt Carol. We spent the first part of the day at the pool, soaking up the rays, while the second half was spent with delicious ice-cream cake & gifts. Check out our cute birthday cowboy...
