Whenever R sees Daddy, she says "Da". When she sees Dakota, she says "Da". Coincidence? Perhaps... Or is it that we have encouraged her first word choice? I was always told that it is better for children to learn the word "Dad", than "Mom", so that in the middle of the night, they will cry out for Dad. Truth be told, this doesn't really work. They cry...Mom hears...and Mom usually gets up....
BUT yesterday afternoon, R finally said "MaMa". It was actually more of a "Ma ma ma ma ma", but it sure made my day!
