Wacky Wednesday
In celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday, along with the extra "leap" day, Ri's school was dressing for the occasion. Today, her style included her clothes on backwards, two different socks, two different shoes, and ponytails all over her head. She is my wacky but wonderful kid.

Spring Soccer 2012
The "Dragons" have only been able to play twice so far this Spring, due to all the rain. They won their first game, 11-3, and the second was won by a score of 6-3. Q even scored a goal in each of the games. We're very proud of his new found confidence, coordination & controlled moves. We can't wait for another undefeated season!

Toothie-Tooths
I don't know if you can see those little pearly whites in the first few photos, but they are there. Her & big brother are racing to see who can get more new teeth. I think the princess is going to win this race. Her top gums are bulging, anticipating another tooth any moment now.

Isn't she just the happiest thing you've ever seen?! We took the kids to Burger King on Saturday just to play. With the non-stop rain, it's tough on a Mama when we have to stay locked up indoors all day. Sweet P was just as happy as can be to be watching her crazy siblings. She's a people watcher, just like her Mama.

Nine Months In... Nine Months Out...

At nine months old, our sweet P cannot simply sit. She likes to MOVE. She likes to wave. She likes to say “bye-bye”. She likes to pull herself up on furniture. She likes to stand, unassisted, for several minutes.
She’s a lot more into food now than she used to be. She wants to try everything that we are eating, in addition to her baby foods. She’ll take being spoon-fed, but she loves to have a plate full of puffs to pick up on her own. She likes to fuss about it when she wants more.
Am I stating the obvious when I say that I’m enjoying this little girl much more at nine months out than I was at nine months in?

Bueller... Bueller... Bueller...
Does this kid even look sick? I would say she was faking it if she wasn't so young. I mean, look at that smile. Sure enough, she had a little ear infection last Friday and needed some special one-on-one time with Grandma. With her first round of amoxicillin in her system, she seems to be feeling better.

It's a Crazy Life...
Our Sweet P is a little maniac. At seven months old, she was getting up on all fours and rocking her tiny body back & forth. After a few short weeks, she grew tired of the rocking and began the adventures in crawling. Now, at eight and a half months, she enjoys pulling up with an occasional standing maneuver.
crawling and so proud of it...

going for the stand...
Our Ri girl is growing so quickly, too. She is such a helper lately; always wanting to help with the chores. She will be off to Kindergarten next year. How in the world did that happen?
helping the birds by making a nest...

crazy for chocolate...
The Q-man is such a big dude now. He absolutely loves school and is learning so much. He amazes me each and every day with what he knows. I don't know how those Kinder teachers do it, but it makes me smile.
ready for school...
clowning around...
