My sweet little guy turned four today!! The morning was filled with tons of friends, Spiderman cake, cheese pizza & Blue-Bell ice-cream cups. What more could you ask for?!



Well, maybe a second round of ice-cream....



And an ultra-cool big boy bike with helmet to match!!



Thank you Grandma & Paw Paw for sharing the afternoon birthday celebrations and delivering Q's new ride. What a special day!!

Boo Hoo

On this last day of summer vacation, we packed up the family & a picnic lunch and headed over to Old MacDonald's Farm. The kids really enjoyed feeding the animals & riding the train. R even decided to take in a pony ride!

The only thing I won't miss about the summer...this blistering heat! Until next year...

Monkeying Around

This morning, we headed out early to enjoy our last Friday before school. We stopped by the "Safari Stop" for some indoor playtime & to remind Q where we were going to celebrate his upcoming 4th birthday.

Afterwards, we went to "My Gym" for the advertised ice-cream social... $5 per family for two hours of play. What a perfect place to burn some energy! Q had tons of smiles for the camera. My Ri girl had a blast too, even though the camera didn't capture many of those sweet smiles!

The kids & I enjoyed a morning at The Woodlands Xploration Station, a satellite facility of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. What the museum lacked, the "dig-pit" made up for. Here are a few pics of my "Superman" & "Princess".

Quack Quack

Feeding the ducks have become an important part of our summer vacation. The ducks seem to know that we've arrived, bringing snacks that have staled or gone moldy. Today's menu - fruit flavored Cheerios.

Botanicles

We ventured over to the Mercer Arboretum this morning before the humidity reached its limit. The kids enjoy the "nature walks" there & looking for caterpillars. I simply enjoy the peace the greenery gives me.
