Ri had her four-year-old check up on Friday. This check up = 3 shots.

Clearly, the posted pic was made prior to said shots.

She is growing beautifully, with her height in the 86th percentile & weight in the 58th percentile. My long & lean girl!

Happenings in the Bluegrass State

Our Kentucky trip was absolutely perfect! The temperatures never exceeded 84 degrees, so the kids really enjoyed spending time outdoors. Picking flowers (clover & dandelions)& catching lightning bugs were favorites.

While there, we celebrated my Grandmother's 89th birthday at a local park. The kids ran around with first and second cousins until the sun went down. Q kept up with the big guys, jumping off the playground equipment, scraping up knees & even falling face first while trying to push the merry-go-round.

Our suitcases were left in the hallway, since we leave for more fun this weekend. Heading to Myrtle Beach to play with the Kentucky cousins some more!! It's going to be a great July 4th!

To Grandmother's House We Go

Our little sweet P is already one month old. Today, she will travel on her first airplane. We are heading to Kentucky to celebrate my Grandmother's birthday and for P to meet her Great Grandma & crazy cousins.

**Keep those fingers crossed for me that all the Schmidt kids are on their best behavior.**

Hello Summer

Swim, Swim, Swimming

The big kids started swim lessons this week with Ms. Kellie, a sweet friend of mine from work. Q started off timid, but had his face underwater at this morning's lesson. By the end of the morning, he was jumping in by himself & then swimming to the side of the pool.

Ri started off strong, but has since brought on her stubborn side. If the water is too cold, she doesn't give her best effort.

It's Only June

With the mercury reaching nearly 100 degrees yesterday, the kids cooled off with some outdoor splishin' & splashin'. Day #3 of swimming lessons await.....pictures to come!
