Tiny Dancer

My sweet girl showed off her dance moves today during her Winter performance. It was actually the first time that I was able to see her in action, and to my surprise, she was quite good. We may have a little ballerina on our hands, folks!

The "Vader Invaders"

On Saturday, Q had the much anticipated winter soccer tournament. During the regular season, the "Dragons" were undefeated. At the tourny, they won two of their games, lost one and tied on the last. It was a great experience for these young players, even with the cold temps pounding down.

My Little Snaggletooth

Q finally lost his lower tooth that he's been able to wiggle for the past few weeks. The adult tooth has already pushed through, as you can see in the picture. He's decided to clean the tooth up really well & put it under his pillow tomorrow night. I think he's hoping for a big payout with a cleaner tooth. That kid really makes me chuckle!

I Spy Something Red

Meet our newest family member, "Twinkle". Each night, while the kids are asleep, "Twinkle" reports back to Santa about the behaviors of Q, R & P. Some days have been better than others. For the good days, I'm sure Santa will reward them with something that will make them smile. I can also guarantee there will be a few pieces of coal in their stockings. In anycase, the kids are having a lot of fun locating him each morning.

Tree Time

With the weather cold & wet, and finally feeling appropriate for the month of December, we were able to put up our tree. A tree we've had for about six years. A beautiful, tall, pre-lit tree. The term "pre-lit" sounds genius, doesn't it? It was for the first few years. Though, little by little, the circuits of lights go out. Not just one bulb, either. The entire section. How did we improvise this year? Oh, by using all of the leftover red lights to create the "candy cane" tree.

the picture is blurry, but shows the "AB" pattern pretty well...

Time Flies When We're Having Fun

Guess who is SIX months old?!? Yep, our little sweet pea.

The Children's Festival

I once read that "The Woodlands is a montage of living at it's best." It's true. There are opportunities, both professional & educational, abound. One such fun & educational activity includes the Children's Festival. A friend of Ri's gave us three tickets to use over the weekend. These pics were taken to show off some of our favorites.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

The kids had a great time at our pumpkin carving party yesterday. Honestly, the adults did too! Here are a few pics to show off the creativity in our family. We can't wait to light them this evening.
