Bugs, Bugs, Go Away

This little sweet-pea has a yucky stomach bug. She's home with Daddy today getting some good snuggles & TLC. I sure hope she feels better soon & that no one else in the family gets sick.

Sunday, Funday

Sunday was absolutley GORGEOUS!! We ventured over to the neighborhood park to picnic and enjoy the outdoors. The turtles were out, too -- they've been hibernating since the cold weather hit.

Spring Cleaning or Nesting?!?!?

The past few days were devoted to getting Ri's room organized -- moving the bed, bringing up her "new" bookshelf unit, and cleaning out the old and/or broken toys.

(When I purchased the bookshelf, the girl threw it in for free)

we hung up her pretty mirrors...

(Thank you, Grandma!)

Longhorns in Aggieland?

On Saturday, we traveled to CS to visit with Grandma & Paw Paw. That evening, we went out to dinner to a place called The Longhorn Tavern. The restaurant is known for it's chicken fried steaks, but none of us ordered one. To "chicken fry" something is definitely a Texas thing. I've never been a fan, but I know a girl that loves her some longhorns.

New Room for Q-Man

Q is officially in his big boy bedroom. We finished moving all of the furniture today, along with the essential books, toys & clothes. There are a few more details that we have in mind, but for now he is counting sheep in big boy style.

Birthday Fun

Last weekend, both Q & R had birthday parties to attend. R's party was on Saturday at a place called "Bouncing Bears of Texas". A more appropriate name for this place would have been "House of Chaos".

We walked into hundreds of kids, big and small, bouncing around. There was no division of ages, nor was there any organization of party-goers. I was about to lose my mind. Thank goodness for Ria, a sweet classmate of R's. They played together on all of the smaller bounce houses & slides. When big kids came around to jump, they left in sync to find something more fun.

A few pictures of the sweet classmates...

On Sunday, Q was invited to a similar place called "Pump it Up", which was completely organized by age & individual party. It was truly a great time. Even though I would have used my pregnancy as an excuse not to climb up the big slide, I didn't get asked once for help. My babies are growing up!!!

We Have Paint

Q's new room is now enclosed & painted!! He seems to be excited about making the move & we are excited to see the finished product. Although he wanted his walls to be RED, we had to compromise a little on the color. Check it out.

I painted this bookshelf over the weekend to bring in his color of choice...

Ring Pops Make Me Cry

I think these two are trying to get me ready for the new baby. They were pretending their ring pops were pacifiers & making "crying" noises on the way home.
