The Vaders

The "Winter Blast" tourney was yesterday and our boys did not disappoint! Out of the four games, they tied three and had one win. We are very proud of Q and the rest of the boys.  They have tons of fun together, which is the most important factor of all.

Love

This little love note was left by my pillow last night.  I love her sweet little heart.

Leaf Soup

The Friday before Thanksgiving, I took both girls in to the pediatrician. Sweet P needed her 18-month check-up and my Ri girl had an unusually large lymph node in her neck. To our dismay, our big girl was diagnosed with strep.

Fast forward to this past Friday, my Q-man was up all night with a raging fever and complaining of a sore throat. Another positive strep culture appeared to be luring its ugly head into our home.

My Q-man has been recuperating for the past few days, while I've tried to disinfect every possible surface within reach.  His normally busy body can only lay on the couch for so long.  Today, we hung outside for a while and made "leaf soup".  I don't know if  "leaf soup" will keep the germs away, but it's worth a try.

Getting Ready

During our break, we also pulled out the Christmas decor and purchased a new slimline tree. Our "Elf on the Shelf" even remembered his way back to our home.  I can't wait to see what crazy things this guy has up his sleeve this year.

Thankful

During these last nine days, we had a wonderful respite from all the hustle & bustle of work and school.  We enjoyed a trip to College Station, had the opportunity to spend time with both sides of family, and enjoyed each day outside in the beautiful weather.  Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving from our little turkey. Ri was the turkey in her Thanksgiving play this year, just like her big brother during his Kindergarten year.

We Can Officially Sing The Song

The other tooth finally came out, with a little more hesitation than the first, although it was hanging on by a single thread. She quickly got over it and now loves the attention of missing both teeth. Being cute is an added bonus!
