Charlee Jean Schmidt entered the world early Friday morning.  Our healthy little bundle was welcomed by Mom, Dad & Big Sister Sutton.  Isn't she precious??

Stunning Ballerina

As the tummy bug eventually made its way through all three kids, it took a few days to get back into our normal groove. This princess was definitely happy to get back into her ballet shoes.

Tummy Bug, Be Gone!

This sweet angel woke up during the night on Saturday with a tummy bug.  I was so sad that I couldn't make it go away.  The next afternoon, while I disinfected the house &washed linens, Daddy, Brother & Sister went over to UB's.

Unfortunately, we got a call from the kid's school this morning saying that big sister had now caught the bug.  I hope it says good-bye before attacking the rest of our family.

Saturday Playday

Now that summer is over, Q&R are back to their one hour reading lesson on Saturday mornings.  During the first hour, Q&P enjoyed the labyrinth at Town Greene Park and a nice walk through a slight drizzle.

Shoes & H2O

This is what our Sweet P likes to do on the weekends:

1) She loves the water.  Whether the source comes from a pool, a puddle, the tub, or sprinkler, she will happily play.

2) The girl loves shoes.  She can even say "shoos" and will bring us a pair to put on for her.  These particular ones are her brother's old shoes.  They're boxed up ready to be given to a new home, but she won't have it.  She enjoys emptying the boxes and asking for her "shoos".

Labor Day Weekend

For me, Labor Day signifies the end of summer, but not good-bye to the hot & humid days.  Even with the heat pounding down today, that did not stop the kids from wanting a picnic at our neighborhood park.  And when I say picnic, I really mean hunting for turtles after a quick bite.

On Saturday, Q & J went to their annual Kiwanis Fishing Tourney.  Unfortunately, the fish were not biting for Q.  The kind gentleman sitting next to them let Q reel in his fish, though.
