Costume Shoppers

After school on Thursday, we stopped by "Party City" before going home. Upon arrival, Q was dead-set on walking out with the Stormtrooper (Star Wars) costume. He changed his mind, though, after seeing Wolverine (X-Men). He was SO excited when he saw it! It had built-in muscles and a fabric mask.

R was quite excited about this city of a store, too. I wanted her to fall in love with the "Bumble Bee" or "Lady Bug", but she had her heart set on the "Fairy Princess". It came with a little tutu and wings, plus a wand for turning the boys into frogs.

Recovery through Nature

With the entire family not feeling well, not much has been going on in the Schmidt house. We lounged around most of the weekend, watched a few movies, worked on a few crafts, and got some much needed rest. We also made it out to feed the ducks.

My sweet little guy turned four today!! The morning was filled with tons of friends, Spiderman cake, cheese pizza & Blue-Bell ice-cream cups. What more could you ask for?!



Well, maybe a second round of ice-cream....



And an ultra-cool big boy bike with helmet to match!!



Thank you Grandma & Paw Paw for sharing the afternoon birthday celebrations and delivering Q's new ride. What a special day!!

Boo Hoo

On this last day of summer vacation, we packed up the family & a picnic lunch and headed over to Old MacDonald's Farm. The kids really enjoyed feeding the animals & riding the train. R even decided to take in a pony ride!

The only thing I won't miss about the summer...this blistering heat! Until next year...
