Friday Fun

This summer has been absolutely brutal. With each day reaching close to 100 degrees, it's quite difficult to plan for outdoor activities, unless of course it involves plenty of water. This morning, while giving our poor grass a drink, the big kids were in need of a cool down.

After lunch, I had a dozen errands to run. Three kids = three hours of errands. Good behavior deserved a reward of yummy icees & swimming!!

Capturing a Smile

Lately, trying to capture a smile on camera has proven to be tough. Here's my attempt of our precious P & her sweet smile....

Horseshoe Junction

When the cousins are in town, "Horseshoe Junction" is a must! Q & R love the arcade games, go-karts, and bumper boats. Q was also able to play laser tag on this trip. It pays to be the first ones there! I even felt the need to race my 13 year-old nephew up the "Cliffhanger Rock Wall"!

Thanks to Paw Paw for the great day trip & to Grandma for watching baby P!

07.14.03

On this day, eight years ago, J & I were married on Makena Beach in Maui, Hawaii. With the sand beneath our toes & thirteen family members in attendance, it was a beautiful ceremony. Happy Anniversary, Peach! I love you!

Beach Fun

Ten glorious days were spent in Myrtle Beach with my family -- 18 of us in total. The three level home was big enough to house everyone & to contain all the craziness. When we weren't enjoying the beach or pool, the kids entertained themselves with the pool table, the foosball table, flashlight tag, and even a little "chickenfoot".
