Recently, we had to do some major work on our front lawn. Last summer, anything that was once green died with the 110 degree temps & lack of rain. We spent months living with dead shrubs and little grass. I know our neighbors cringed at the sight of our pathetic state.
While I was always hoping to run into "Yard Crashers" at Lowe's or The Home Depot, I never did. So last month, as we traveled to Florida, our own yard crew got to work on this big project. Three trees were removed to allow for turf growth. Q & J had already dug up the dead shrubs (this before pic was taken from Google maps when the shrubbery was not completely dead). A sprinkler system was installed to keep all living things alive. Boulder rock formed our beautiful flower beds & lovely green sod was put down.
We love the end result. Our house can now be seen from the street and I have lovely rose bushes to admire. I'm a happy girl!
