What is that little floatie called the kids are wearing and would you recommend those? I saw those on another blog and the girl was ranting and raving about them so I was wondering if they were really all that.

It's called a "puddle jumper" life jacket. We purchased it last year from one of the local pool supply stores & yes, it's awesome. By the end of the summer, R was a water bug in it.
We tried it on my 1-year-old niece this weekend, but it wasn't a success. Possibly by the end of summer, it may work better. I can't remember if there were different sizes, either. Perhaps something to look into for Wy???
