"Ketchup"

Spring Break is coming to an end. Here are a few pics to re-cap some of our fun...

The kids & I woke up early Monday morning and strolled over to Northshore Park to feed the ducks. We took an old loaf of raisin bread and watched the birds have a feast! There was one that really took to Q...his picture is below.

We also scoped out a pet store and picked up a few new toys for Dakota. The kids enjoy seeing "Ratatouille" & making "fish lips" in front of the aquariums.

On Tuesday morning, we put on our favorite green attire & went back to visit our friends at Northshore Park. Instead of bread, the ducks devoured a huge container of stale Cheerios. I was impressed with their ability to maneuver the smaller pieces.

We also hung out at the "Safari Spot" in the local Methodist Church. Most of the equipment was designed for ages 5-9, but there were a few things that peaked an interest.

The kids even hung out with Mimi & Papa that morning, and while there, they enjoyed their favorite meal...french toast & bacon! Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

On Wednesday, we woke up and headed to Creekside Park to see how the bluebonnets were looking. The kids ran in the grass, picked a few bonnets, and played on the playground equipment. They must have burned some serious energy; both kids took a great nap!

And on Thursday, J left for a conference in Florida, and the kids & I loaded up the car and headed to CS. When we arrived, we found a sweet little pair of motorcylces. Here's Q & R revving the engines.
